This is certainly a case of an old dog trying to learn a new trick. We can call it the Case of the Old Dog Blog. Actually, it is an old dog trying to learn a whole lot of new tricks all in one day. And it happened all because the Old Dog thought it might be a good idea for Judges to communicate about Christmas via blogging. So far the Old Dog imported a photo from a shared Google document into a Windows file, finally figured out how to edit the thing and then inserted it into this blog. Even added a caption. Ta-dah! Yeah, yeah- I know what all you young pups are thinking... "And that took all day, why??"
So anyway, the purpose of the blog is for Judges to share what is going on in their lives and to attempt communicate important information such as impeding marriages, graduate school acceptances, job changes, the passing of licensure examinations, and moves . We are also hoping to use it to co-ordinate efforts for family get-togethers during holidays and the Florida Experience. The blog can also be used just as a blog. Feel free to express yourself, but keep it positive. It is not for family feuds. No name calling allowed. (Occasional exceptions may be made for "dufus". Do you know how ridiculous I felt trying to explain to someone that "dufus" is actually a term of endearment in this family? *sigh*)
Anyway, back to Christmas. We are again thinking of going south for the week Dec 22 - 29. Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions? Who is available?
